unTapped Topic: 9/11 Reflections

Most of us can clearly recall where we were ten years ago as a group of terrorists used jet planes to kill Americans and destroy some of America's greatest architectural symbols. Thousands lost their life that day and the events led to a military response that claimed the lives of thousands more.

A decade has now passed and this Sunday will be a time when many mourn, pray, and reflect. Was your life affected at all by what happened ten years ago? What spiritual impact has the event had on you? When you think of national tragedies of this caliber, is your faith a source of peace or is it more of a source of confusion? Finally, do you feel any ethical responsibility to the victims or the perpetrators?

Join us this Thursday, 7pm at Short's Brewing as unTapped resumes.

unTapped

In order to live man must believe in that for which he lives.
- Huston Smith
unTapped is a conversation about faith and spirituality. There are many people frustrated by being forced to think of faith in the same old patterns, and would prefer to explore spirituality in different ways.

Anything goes here. No matter where you are or who you are, we want to hear from you. Feel free to join in the conversation!

You can also join us in person, every Thursday night at Short's Brewing Company in Downtown Bellaire, MI.
